Overview
Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is the presence of abnormal cells in the narrow neck of a woman's uterus (the cervix). The condition is also called cervical dysplasia. It may go away on its own without treatment. Rarely, it can become cancerous.
Treatments
It's found by a Pap test. When needed, treatment may include follow-up tests and surgery.
