Overview
Chronic myelogenous leukemia typically affects older adults. It's caused by a chromosome mutation that occurs spontaneously. Doctors aren't sure what causes the mutation.
Symptoms
Symptoms include easy bleeding, feeling run-down or tired, fever, weight loss, pale skin, and night sweats.
Treatments
Treatments include targeted drugs, stem cell transplant, chemotherapy, and biological therapy.
