With nummular dermatitis, coin-shaped rashes or sores appear on the skin. It may occur after an injury.

Symptoms

The sores may spread, ooze, itch, and crust over. The condition can last for months.

Treatments

Treatments can include lotions and bandages. Antihistamines can help with itching. It also helps to avoid irritants such as excess bathing.
