Mosaic is here to serve our communities, help them stay healthy and to stay connected. If you need to see us, please call your doctor or send them a message via myMosaic Portal to determine the care option best for you.
Virtual Care Options
Whether you need a routine checkup or need to be seen for an illness, we have options for you to access care without having to come into a clinic.
Virtual Visits offer a convenient way for you to see your doctor or specialist from your phone, tablet or computer. You do not need a myMosaic Portal account to use a virtual visit, just call your doctor's office to schedule. Eligibility for Virtual Visits, including age or type of ailment, are determined on a case-by-case basis. If you already have an appointment scheduled with your doctor, you may call them to see if switching to a Virtual Visit is appropriate. Some examples of visits that work great for Virtual Visits are follow-up appointments or appointments to determine if your prescription needs refilled.
Virtual Visits are scheduled by your doctor if they feel it is the best care option for you. A Virtual Visit can be scheduled two ways:
- Your provider reviews their existing schedule and determines if any patients would benefit from a Virtual Visit. If so, the clinic contacts the patient and offers a Virtual Visit.
- Patients can call their doctor and request a Virtual Visit.
Please call your doctor first to determine the care option best for you.
Virtual House Calls are for established patients only. They are conducted with urgent care providers and are accessed via the myMosaic Portal. Virtual House Calls are perfect for:
- Sinus infections
- Skin rashes
- Pink eye
- Other non-emergency conditions like minor urinary tract infections (adults only), nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Many doctors and nurse practitioners are accepting appointments online. Same-day appointments may be available on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Currently, online appointment scheduling is only available for primary and family care and sports medicine. If you need to schedule for another specialty, you'll need to call the clinic where you'd like to schedule.
If you believe you need to be screened for COVID-19, please call before scheduling an appointment online.
