Bio
Ricardo Ramos, MD, earned his medical degree from Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre in Brazil. He completed an internal medicine residency at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. Dr. Ramos broadened his training in the U.S. with a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship, cardiology fellowship and internal medicine fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla. He’s certified in electrophysiology, cardiovascular medicine and internal medicine.
“Our parents influence our lives. My father is a cardiologist, and he played a big role in my decision to go into medicine,” says Dr. Ramos. “I chose Mosaic Life Care because it is patient-oriented and provides state–of–the–art technology.”
As an electrophysiologist, Dr. Ramos conducts studies in the cath lab to diagnose and treat abnormal heart rhythms. He specializes in arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation.
