"I love being a nurse practitioner. I love working with patients and families to make a positive difference in their lives. I spent 21 years in the ICU where I found my love for cardiology patients, and this is what drew me to the specialty."
Melanie earned her master’s in nursing from Graceland University in Independence, Mo. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo. Melanie is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Melanie works with patients who have heart rhythm problems (arrhythmias), heart failure, diseases of the heart muscles, as well as patients who have had procedures such as ablations, pacemakers, The WATCHMAN Implant and cardioversions.
