What is a Rural Track Program?
A rural track program allows residents to complete their training in a rural community while benefiting from the resources, faculty and academic support of a university-based residency program.
Residents in the UMKC Maryville Rural Track complete their first year of training in Kansas City and spend their second and third years fully immersed in rural family medicine at Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville.
