Arsenault, Andre J, MD
Bio
Andre Arsenault, MD, is a medical oncologist with Mosaic Cancer Care in St. Joseph and Albany, Mo. Dr. Arsenault attended Saba University School of Medicine in Dutch Caribbean, Netherlands. He interned at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y. He completed his internal medicine residency and received further training with a fellowship in oncology and hematology, both at the University of Missouri – Kansas City in Kansas City, Mo.
“I've worked at Mosaic in two capacities,” says Dr. Arsenault. “First as a hospitalist and now as an oncologist. I’m very happy to be back; it's a special place to work. I look forward to seeing some old faces and meeting new ones.”
Dr. Arsenault is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. As a hospitalist, his specialty was in general medicine. During his final year as a hospitalist, he focused on treating cancer patients, and that’s where his passion for oncology began. He continued his education to specialize in oncology and hematology and now treats a wide range of cancer diagnoses.
“I can’t overstate how important it is for a community like Albany to have an infusion center,” says Dr. Arsenault. “It gives more patients access to treatments close to home, without the burden of traveling long distances for cancer therapy.”
