Lesbians and other women who have sex with women are more likely than other people to have alcohol use disorder and use illegal drugs. If you have concerns about alcohol or drug use, help is available. Talk with your healthcare professional. Many healthcare and mental health organizations focused on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community also offer substance use treatment or may be able to provide information about local resources.
