Adrenal insufficiency

Overview

In Addison's disease (adrenal insufficiency), the small glands above the kidneys (adrenal glands) don't make enough of certain hormones.

Symptoms

Symptoms include weakness, weight loss, darkening of the skin, and low blood pressure.

Treatments

Treatment includes hormone replacement therapy.
