Overview

Allergic sinusitis is caused by an allergic response to outdoor or indoor allergens, such as pollen, dust mites or pet dander.

Symptoms

Symptoms include itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, nasal congestion and itching, and runny nose, which may be seasonal or year-round.

Treatments

Steroid nasal sprays, antihistamine drugs and allergy shots may help.
