Cervicitis

Overview

Cervicitis is inflammation of the cervix, the lower, narrow end of the womb (uterus) that opens into the vagina. The condition can be caused by a sexually transmitted infection.

Symptoms

Symptoms may include pus-like vaginal discharge, painful urination, and pain during sex.

Treatments

Treatment may include medications.
