Paget's disease of the breast


Overview

Paget's disease of the breast is a form of breast cancer affecting the nipple and dark circle of skin (areola) around it. Most women with it have underlying ductal breast cancer.

Symptoms

Nipple or areola flaking, scaling, crusting, oozing, itching, and unusual discharge are symptoms.

Treatments

Treatment may include surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy.
