  • Two days of hospital orientation
  • Pharmacy department policies and procedures
  • Epic training
  • ACLS certification
  • Informatics / automated dispensing, IV Room, IV nutrition – 2 weeks
  • Anticoagulation & Pharmacokinetics management – 2 weeks

Core Rotations (5 weeks)

  • Critical Care
  • Cardiology
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Infectious Disease
  • Internal Medicine I and II
  • Mental Health
  • Oncology

Longitudinal Rotations

  • Geriatrics – every Monday
  • Leadership/management
  • Learning and Education
  • Medication Use Safety and Policy
  • Research
  • Staffing – every 4th weekend

Electives

  • 1 x 2-week rotations to gain experience in an area of interest (i.e. endocrinology, nephrology, neurology, etc.) or repeat a core rotation listed above
