Brooke Hornberger, APP, is a physician assistant at Mosaic Cancer Care – Albany.
Brooke earned her master’s of physician assistant studies from Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, and received her bachelor’s in biochemistry from Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md.
“I started out doing cancer research, and I worked as a pharmacy technician, but I missed one-on-one time with patients,” she says.” Once I became a medical assistant, I loved being part of their care. That’s what really drove me to become a physician assistant.”
During her clinical rotations, Brooke gained experience in hematology oncology, internal medicine and rural emergency medicine.
