Bio
Dr. Harris earned his doctorate of medicine from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. He completed his preliminary year internship at Beaumont Health Royal Oak in Royal, Mich. followed by his residency at University of Michigan Health West in Wyoming, Mich.
In addition to performing surgeries in Maryville, Dr. Harris also sees patients in Albany several times a month.
“My inspiration and passion for medicine comes from my father who was an ear, nose and throat surgeon,” says Dr. Harris. “I love problem solving and the surgical field gives me the opportunity to diagnose interesting cases and work with my hands while also making a difference in people’s lives.”
Dr. Harris performs a wide range of surgeries and procedures such as gallbladder removal, hernia repair, colonoscopies and small mass excisions.
