Hormozdi, Bahram, MD
Bio
Bahram Hormozdi, MD, is a neurologist at Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph – Neurology.
Dr. Hormozdi earned his doctorate of medicine in neurology at the University of Tehran in Iran.
“I became interested in neurology during my internship,” says Dr. Hormozdi. “I had the opportunity to shadow a hospital neurologist, and what really stood out to me was how much we can localize the problem just from the neurological exam before even looking at imaging. It felt like solving a puzzle. Then confirming it on MRI was incredibly rewarding. I enjoy that neurology is still very hands-on and bedside focused. We rely on our clinical skills, not just technology. Being able to diagnose patients through careful examination and then help them and their families — that’s what makes it meaningful for me."
Dr. Hormozdi is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also board-certified in neurophysiology and interventional pain management.
Dr. Hormozdi cares for patients with strokes, seizures, migraines and all other neurological disorders. He also performs electromyography (EMG), Botox and trigger points.
