Brent Forrest, MD, FACS, is a bariatric surgeon at Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph – Bariatric Care.

Dr. Forrest earned his doctorate of medicine at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, Calif. Following medical school, he served as a physician in the Air Force on active duty in aviation units. In 2018, he returned to residency for training in general surgery at the University of Missouri – Kansas City in Kansas City, Mo., where he won multiple awards for his clinical care and leadership, and produced research presented at state and national conferences. Now, as a practicing surgeon, he takes pride in the comprehensive perioperative care of his patients, a value instilled in him throughout training. In addition, he continues to serve as an officer in the Air National Guard.

Dr. Forrest is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
