Joedd Biggs, MD, is a vascular surgeon at Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph –Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Biggs earned his bachelor’s in biochemistry from William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. He received his medical degree and completed his residency training in general surgery at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. He was awarded Alpha Omega Alpha during medical school. Dr. Biggs pursued advanced fellowship training in vascular and endovascular surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Before working at Mosaic Life Care, he practiced at the University of Kansas Health System, where he was instrumental in advancing surgical care for patients with aortic disease.
Dr. Biggs models his approach to care on the guiding principle of William J. Mayo, MD, “The best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered.”
He specializes in vascular surgery, which is devoted to the care of patients with arterial and venous disease of the neck, abdomen and extremities.
