Mary Jo Shaver, APP, is a nurse practitioner at Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph - Gastroenterology. 

Mary Jo earned her master’s in family nurse practitioner at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. She received her bachelor’s from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo.  

“The most rewarding part of treating patients is helping them achieve a better quality of life,” says Mary Jo. “I love being a small part of their story and supporting them in becoming the best version of themselves.” 

Mary Jo is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and treats patients with GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease and gastroparesis. 

Mary Jo spent seven years as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Mosaic Life Care.
