Believing that life is sacred, we provide spiritual care to patients, residents, and loved ones within Mosaic Life Care and our community. Our ministry is integrated with the healthcare team as we engage in ongoing education with clergy, staff and lay persons in the practice of spiritual healthcare.
Chaplain Services
Chaplains respond to referrals for spiritual support from patients, clergy, loved ones, family members, doctors, nurses and employees. Chaplains respond to all traumas and are present at the bedside of persons who are dying. Chaplains offer consultation on ethical decision-making including organ/tissue donation and Advance Directives.
Spiritual Health encourages visitation by the patients' own ministers. If a minister is not available, the hospital chaplains gladly respond to your requests. You may ask to visit with a chaplain by calling (816) 271-6040.
