“I believe that being a physician is more than a vocation. Growing up, I was drawn to the field by my father who led an anesthesia department for over 30 years at a university hospital. I became a physician not only to help the people around me, but to have a positive impact on my community.”

Dr. Geronimo is a cardiothoracic surgeon. He earned his medical degree from Pontifica Universidad Catolica Madre Y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. He completed his surgical residency at New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital Center in Valhalla, New York. He also completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery from Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Dr. Geronimo speaks English and Spanish.

Dr. Geronimo performs surgeries on the heart and lungs for conditions such as lung cancer, heart disease and heart failure.
